Sudan announced on Friday the killing of 18 people at the hands of "Chadian infiltrators" in the border area between the two countries, the Sudan News Agency (SUNA) reported.

"SUNA" said today that the people "were assassinated yesterday afternoon, Thursday, in the Bir Saliba area in Sirba locality, after an ambush they were exposed to while following the trail of camels looted on Wednesday by Chadian intruders."
